When a client commissions the
creation of a lamp and has no
specif ic preferences regarding the
type and colour of materials, we
guide them in choosing. Material
selection is based on various factors,
including functionality, durability,
and aesthetics. Once the details
are established, our technical off ice
analyses and evaluates the lamp
design, preparing the cutting scheme
and detailed drawings.
The order is then sent to the cutting
department, where the operator
precisely cuts the individual pieces.
The cut pieces then proceed to the
f inishing department, where they are
carefully perfected and assembled.
Finally, the lamp is ready to be
delivered to the client, meeting their
expectations and ensuring a high-
quality product.

In a lamp body as “slim” as this, including
a low-voltage LED driver (12 or 24Vdc) is not
feasible, so I would opt for the new 220V
LED strips. An aluminium profile should
also be installed within the marble cavity to
attach the LED strip with the double-sided
adhesive it usually comes with. For safety,
the following should be considered:
A HOLE AT THE TOP
allows the escape of hot air that inevitably
accumulates when the LED is on.
AN OPAL COVER
to enclose the LED housing cavity and
prevent direct contact with the 220V LED, as
well as to avoid glare from the LED itself.
A DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTION
on the light line rated at 0.03A.
