FROM PAPER TO STONE
The project is by the surveyor Marco Ballarini and the
architect Giulio Tedeschi from Studio Associato Ballarini di Sant'Ambrogio in Valpolicella
(VR), and carried out by the construction company
Guerra Costruzioni in Roverè Veronese. A firm that pursues cutting-edge experimentation
while respecting the environment, from energy
isolation to sustainable cost savings. An integral part of
every project, like that of Villa Destri, is the study of interior
design with a tailor-made approach.
REPORTAGE
The role of water
In the living are there is a huge aquar- ium (4x2 metres) in the middle of the room to separate the living area from the kitchen. An element with a high visual impact that gives the room and eloquent and lively atmosphere. Out- side, there is a swimming pool facing the veranda that overlooks the living
area to create a continuous inside out effect, connected by a wooden pergola to the outbuilding, a horizon- tal building with low energy consump- tion that also uses geostone. Here the eye loses itself in the surrounding hills, where nature triumphs and is conditioned by the climatic influences of the nearby Lake Garda.

The construction works were carried out by the company Costruzioni Guerra.
