CUT-TO-SIZE
I
n this issue of ML World, we have
explored the potential of Artificial
Intelligence to assist designers
and architects in creating new
spaces and objects. However, to
transition from imagination to re-
ality a technical and design leap is
necessary We attempted to create a
nonexistent but plausible object such
as this ovalshaped table using our
stateoftheart CNC machines with
the guidance of Camilla Caliari our
cuttosize service manager
"Architects often approach us with the
desire to draw attention to the center
of a room by installing a unique and
functional design object," explains
Camilla Caliari.
Thats why we immediately thought
of Patagonia Quartzite with its deli
cate colors interspersed with quartz
It is a unique and unmatched material
Its sturdy structure lends itself well to
creating highend design objects to be
placed in sophisticated environments
