The jewellery designers Chiara and Sara Guerrini have always translated nature into art, transforming natural stones into jewellery. We brought them into our sustainable creativity project, asking them to use the precious scraps of Marmi Lanza materials to create jewellery. The result? Unique pieces, designed as works of art, made by hand in their workshop in Verona. A "zero waste" project that aims to transform the natural stone in a virtuous and artistic way, to create something innovative.

The amazonite used for the Amazzone pendant is a rare and precious gemstone, with many properties, valued for its incredible colours from green to turquoise with yellow, grey, brown and black inclusions, making every piece unique. Known as the stone of hope , it is believed to bestow harmony, calm and peace. In ancient Egypt it was used as a lucky charm: legend has it that it was used by the Amazon warrior women to instil courage and strength and that this is where its name comes from.
